Born in family where both parents were musicians, Theodor took his first percussion lessons at the age of 8 with Vesela Neikova and later on with Maxim Mankovsky at the “ Municipal Concervatory of Patras” – Greece.
In the early age of 12 , Theodore Milkov was awarded with the first prize at the International Competition for young musicians “ Classica Nova “ in Hannover – Germany. At the age of 15 Theodore reprecented Greece at the “ Eurovision” Competition in Berlin, and became the first Greek finalist in the 25 years history of this event.

Theodore started his solo performances at the age of 15 performing together with “ Hellas Orchestra of Patras”- Greece , conducted by S.Sondeckis, and at the same time doing the first Greek premier of N.Rosauro concerto for marimba and Orchestra. In later years Theodore has been playing with “ Camerata Orchestra ”of Athens conducted by A.Myrat, and Berliner Rundfunk conducted by M.Janowski. Theodore Milkov has been playing recitals and chamber music all across Europe in countries like Holland, Germany, France , Belgium, Greece , Russia , in festivals like “Musical Olympus”-St.Petersburg , "Suite-Festival" - Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, PAS -German Chapter, and doing coloborations with musicians like Gunther Schuller , Theodore Antoniou , who dedicated one of his pieces for him.
Theodor finished his studies in "Detmold Musikhochschule " - Germany with Prof. Peter Prommel , and "Conservatorium van Amsterdam " Nick Woud , Gustavo Gimeno , Peter Prommel , Jan Pustjens.
During the period 2004-2006 Theodor was assistant of Prof.Peter Prommel in "Detmold Musikhochschule"- Germany. Theodor currently holds a position with the State Orchestra of Athens-Greece.
